Friends, Friends, I love them!

Jalisa and I just recently had a sleepover with our friends Heather and Breanna. Since we don't see them a lot, we of course made the most of our time together! :) The reason for the sleepover was because Jalisa was taking their school pictures, however, it also just happened that we also got some crazy ridiculous pictures! (my favorite kind!) :)

Heather and I sitting in the car bored because Jalisa was taking Breanna's picutures. :)

Heather and I are a very interesting (and maybe scary!) combo. We both love to talk and love to laugh. Ahhh! We have tons of fun and get along great. :)

Okay, I seriously think it looks like she is holding me up on this one! (Smiles)

One with Breanna on my cousin's bannana seat bike. Oh yeah!

The four of us. We had a blast! :)

Violin Challenges-No. 2

Here is a song I just got from my violin teacher. I had played two rather mournful songs that I really loved, Ashokan Farwell and Midnight on the Water. And so I wanted another because I hadn't had one for a while. So he gave me this beautiful song, Si Bhaeg, Si Mohr. Again, my rendition won't sound this great, but I'll try. :)

please excuse...[my a-p-p-e-a-ra-n-c-e]

Ahem.
Yes, this blog is a little (or a lot) messed up.
It is currently under renovations.
I hope that when this is all over, this blog of mine will look better than ever before!
So if you will be kind to my blog, and bear with it, you will hopefully shortly be enjoying a whole new look.
Have fun. (Smiles)

Violin Challenges-No. 1

This is the song I am currently practicing on my violin. I just started the book "Bach: Sonatas and Partitias" not long ago. It has some incredibly hard songs in it that I'm not even close to being able to play, so I'll be in the book for a loooong time. Years. :) This is the second song in the book that I am learning, those are probably the two easiest ones. Haha. And let it be known, dear readers, that I do not play this song at the speed of this video. I play it maybe a tenth that fast. lol That is the real speed that it should be at. I didn't master it like that yet. I still have some work to do. Smiles.
Some time I'll post one of the really hard songs from the book. They are amazing but I won't be able to play them for a long time! This book has also brought some new musical challenges, such as a totally new kind of fingering. This fingering is very common in Classical music, but it is really tricky for me. :) Hope you enjoy this video.

The Letters-No. 1

I am going to start a series on this blog called "The Letters." My friend and I love to write letters back and forth, since we don't see each other very often. We also love to decorate the envelopes of the letters. And so, I am going to post pictures of the envelopes, to give my readers ideas for decorating envelopes. So,I'm gonna put one that my friend did for me.

I love this one. :)

She really made this letter awesome! She put the paper and stitching on half the envelope, and that gorgeous carnation-like flower. Then she wrote in cursive to finish the elegant look. We call each other by make-believe names, thus "Peggy" on the front of the envelope. lol

The theme, as you can see, is "Classy Carnation."

I think that one of my blogging friends, Katelyn, will be posting how to make this particular flower, but she is undergoing blog construction, so it isn't available yet. :)
Have a awesome day!
